Xiaomi reportedly working on Mi Max 2 with Snapdragon 660 chipset

Keeping up with the success of the Mi Max, Xiaomi seems to have started working on the successor to the popular phablet.

According to reports, Xiaomi is working on the successor of the Mi Max phablet. While there is hardly any information available about the handset, sources in the know suggest that it may be released as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The device is expected to retain the 6.44 inch display but may flaunt even thinner side bezels.

Reports indicate that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 2 may be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. The handset is expected to be released in two variants – one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and the other with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device is said to pack in a massive 5000 mAh battery.
