Sony-O2
A software bug has delayed the launch of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play on the O2 network in UK. The launch date released by O2 was the 1st of April; however it won’t be able to make it, said testing head Stuart Hibberd in a post on the O2 blog. He also added that Sony Ericsson is handling the issues to fix the bug which were found during testing.
There hasn’t been any news as to when O2 will launch the Xperia Play. However, this has led to a question. Will this delay mean that all the Xperia Play launches are going to be late? Or is it just for the O2 branded ones? Well let’s wait and hope that Sony Ericsson gives us a treat on time.
