When the Xperia Z1 was launched, the camera was the one thing that gained the most attention thanks to the 20.7 MP camera with a Exmor RS sensor and when we reviewed the device we quite liked the camera features such as Timeshift burst and now the feature has made it to select Sony smartphones through an app in the Google Play Store.
The Sony smartphones for which the app is available are Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Tablet Z. So what does Timeshift burst do? Well it takes 61 frames in 2 seconds and starts even before you hit the shutter button similar to the HTC One’s implementation. Once the 60 frames are captured, you can then go ahead and select the best picture according to you. In case you have some confusion, you can save all the 61 pictures.
