While YU has always assured its commitment towards software updates, the company has now started rolling out the Cyanogen OS 12.1 update.
YU has started rolling out the Cyanogen OS 12.1 update which is based on Android Lollipop v5.1.1 for the YU Yureka and the YU Yureka Plus smartphones. The update (YOG4PAS3JM), which weighs around 300 MB, is already being pushed over-the-air (OTA) and is expected to reach all users gradually in the next few days.
The Cyanogen OS 12.1 update for the YU Yureka and the YU Yureka Plus adds several new features, performance and temperature control improvements for the handsets. Also the launcher has been redesigned for single-handed use with the Live Display which intelligently adjusts your screen based on environmental conditions. The Cyanogen OS 12.1 update is also expected for the YU Yuphoria.
