While YU’s first attempt at flagship offering didn’t get a good response, the company has now re-attempted with a more impressive offering – the YU Yunicorn.
YU has announced the launch of the YU Yunicorn, which is the company’s latest flagship offering with a full aluminum alloy metal body and fingerprint scanner in the Home button. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The YU Yunicorn has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, OIS and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 4000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at a special price of Rs. 12999 for the first month followed by Rs. 14999. The handset is available in Rush Silver, Graphite and a limited edition Rush Gold colour options exclusively on Flipkart.
