ZTE Star 1 has just been made official and it is for people who have wanted the high-end ZTE Grand S II but could not afford it. The device brings a lot of high end specs at a brilliant price of $225 (~Rs.13565).
At that price, the ZTE Star 1 brings a 5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display. The processor is a mid-ranger though, the Quad-core Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.6 GHz powers the device. Then there’s 2GB RAM, 16 or 32 GB of internal storage.
The ZTE Star 1 comes with an 8 MP camera coupled with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front facing camera. The device comes with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery. The device also comes with 4G LTE connectivity in tow.
The ZTE Star 1 will hit the Chinese market at the $225 price and it will come in three color versions- black, white, and pink. For now, we don’t have any idea if ZTE ever plans to bring the Star 1 to the rest of the world but we hope they do because at that price, it’s a pretty awesome smartphone. What do you say?
