Given the excitement around the Reliance Jio 4G services, the company seems to be finally ready to commercially rollout the services in India.

According to reports from PhoneRadar, Mukesh Ambani is all set to announce the commercial launch of the Reliance Jio 4G services in India on September 1. The announcement is expected to be made at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled on that day. The announcement is expected to be made by Mukesh Ambani while addressing the shareholders and investors.

Late last year, we witnessed a similar rumour where the Reliance Jio 4G services were expected to be launched on December 28 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani. However, the company only launched the beta services exclusively for Reliance employees. Keeping that in mind we expect a similar turnout this time as well. However, we have a feeling that Mukesh Ambani will at least disclose the exact launch date at the meeting.

Meanwhile, Reliance Jio is drastically expanding its reach before the official launch. After launching the offer exclusively for LYF smartphones, the company has extended the Jio Preview Offer to Samsung, Sony, LG, Asus, Panasonic, Micromax, Karbonn, Xolo, Gionee, Lava, Videocon, Sansui, YU, TCL and Alcatel 4G smartphones.
