Amazfit has expanded its smartwatch portfolio in India with the launch of the Amazfit Bip Max, the latest addition to the company’s popular Bip series. Arriving as the successor to the Bip 6, the new smartwatch brings a larger AMOLED display, improved outdoor visibility, built-in GPS tracking, Bluetooth calling, and extended battery life. Designed for fitness enthusiasts and everyday users alike, the Bip Max combines health tracking, AI-powered coaching, and comprehensive sports monitoring in a durable and lightweight design. Amazfit also introduced Cheetah 2 Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra premium smartwatches starting at ₹41,999 alongwith Zepp OS 6 featuring HYROX support, Multi-Device Activity Sync, and Motion UI.
One of the biggest highlights of the Amazfit Bip Max is its large 2.07-inch AMOLED display featuring a resolution of 432 x 514 pixels and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, making it one of the brightest displays in its segment. Compared to its predecessor, the Bip Max offers significantly improved outdoor visibility. The smartwatch also features an integrated ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness based on surrounding lighting conditions.
The smartwatch adopts a premium design with an aluminum alloy frame that enhances durability while maintaining a comfortable fit for daily wear. It also carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating, allowing users to wear it during swimming sessions and other water-related activities.
For connectivity, the Bip Max supports Bluetooth calling through its built-in microphone and speaker, enabling users to answer and make calls directly from the watch when connected to a compatible smartphone.
Fitness and activity tracking remain a major focus of the Bip Max. The smartwatch comes equipped with support for 150+ workout modes, including running, cycling, strength training, yoga, Pilates, and HYROX race training. Amazfit has also integrated Zepp Coach AI-powered training guidance, offering personalized coaching recommendations, adaptive training plans, race predictions, and running analytics.
The Bip Max features built-in GPS support with five satellite positioning systems, including GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS, ensuring accurate route tracking and outdoor activity monitoring. Additional fitness features include Smart Trajectory Correction, Virtual Pacer, Track Run Mode, and race achievement predictions.
Health monitoring is handled by Amazfit’s latest BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor, which supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, stress monitoring, and one-tap health measurements. The smartwatch also includes accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, and geomagnetic sensors for comprehensive activity and movement tracking.
The smartwatch offers 4 GB Storage, allowing users to store offline music and maps directly on the device. Additional smart features include call notifications, calendar reminders, sedentary alerts, app notifications, music controls, and camera controls.
Battery life is another strong area of the Bip Max. Amazfit claims the smartwatch can deliver up to 20 days of battery life under typical usage conditions, up to 10 days with heavy usage, and up to 40 hours of continuous GPS tracking, making it suitable for long-distance outdoor activities and travel.
