Android v4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy Note II starts rolling out in India

While the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II was reportedly available at service centres in India, the update has now started rolling out to users across the country.

The Android v4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100) has started rolling out for devices in India. The update, which is 700 MB in size, is available Over the Air and also through the Samsung Kies PC suite. The update released today evening makes the device faster as well as adds in some new features available on the recent flagship devices.

The Android v4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II adds support for the Galaxy Gear smart watch. Other than that, the Samsung Knox security app and Samsung Wallet app are added. Also seen is the new Samsung keyboard, lock screen, screen modes and the Daydream feature. To check if the update is available on your device go to Settings > More > About Device > Software update > Update.
