ARC, an Indian gaming hardware company focused on building a premium handheld gaming ecosystem, has officially opened registrations for the waitlist for its first handheld gaming device. The waitlist gives interested users early access to product announcements, launch updates, community initiatives, and priority purchase opportunities ahead of the official release.
Building a Handheld Gaming Ecosystem for India
According to the company, ARC aims to address the growing demand for dedicated handheld gaming devices in India, where gamers often face challenges such as limited official availability, high import costs, and products primarily designed for international markets.
The company says it is developing both hardware and software specifically for Indian gamers, with a focus on delivering a localized gaming experience.
More Than Just a Handheld Console
Rather than launching only a gaming device, ARC is building an integrated ecosystem that combines hardware, software, and community features.
The upcoming platform will include:
- Purpose-built handheld gaming hardware
- Proprietary operating system
- Integrated software services
- Community-driven platform for gamers and developers
ARC says it plans to work closely with early adopters, creators, and developers to refine the overall experience ahead of the commercial launch.
Early Access for Waitlisted Users
Users who join the waitlist will receive:
- Early product updates
- Official launch announcements
- Exclusive community initiatives
- Priority purchase opportunities
- Behind-the-scenes development updates
- Future product specifications and announcements
According to the company, waitlisted users will also gain access to exclusive development insights as ARC moves closer to launching its first handheld gaming device.
Regarding this, Jobin Joseph, Co-founder, ARC, said, “Opening the waitlist is an important milestone for us as we move closer to launch. The response to ARC over the past few days has reinforced our belief that Indian gamers are ready for something built specifically for them. This waitlist is more than early access to a device; it’s an opportunity for gamers to be part of building a platform that puts their needs, feedback and experiences at the centre.”
Kaustubh K. Jadhav, Co-founder, ARC, said, “From the beginning, our vision has been to build with the community, not just for it. The gamers joining our waitlist today will become our earliest supporters and collaborators. Their feedback will play an important role in shaping the ARC ecosystem as we move towards launch and beyond.”
