Just a month after its launch at the IFA 2013, Asus has launched the Asus FonePad 7, which is a tablet sized smartphone, in India.
The Asus FonePad 7, which is the latest addition to the company’s FonePad series, is sized like a tablet yet is still considered to be a smartphone. The device is equipped with a 7 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Asus FonePad 7 sports a 5 MP rear facing camera along with a front facing 1.2 MP camera. Its 3950 mAh battery is said to last for 28 hours of talk time or 10 hours of active use. The device runs on the Android v4.2.2 with a UI layer of Asus. The device is priced at Rs. 17499.
