ASUS launches Transformer Prime in India for Rs. 49,999

After waiting for so long, and about after 4 months of its official launch, ASUS has announced the launch of its Tegra 3 powered Transformer Prime tablet in India. The Transformer Prime is said to be the first tablet to have a quad-core processor on-board. 
Initially the tablet will run on Android 3.2 Honeycomb but an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be released very soon. The Transformer Prime is a 10.1 inch device and has some awesome specs. Read on for more.

ASUS has priced the 64 GB version at Rs. 49,999 and this will include the full QWERTY attachable dock which is transforms the tablet to a great extend. At this price, going by the specs, combined with the detachable dock, the Transformer Prime is a great buy.
