The newest version of the Chat application is now available on the Symbian 3 platform including phones like the N8-00, C7-00, E7-00 and C6-01. Being upgraded from version 2.5, version 3.1 will have a new look, custom made for these phones. The app also embeds into the contacts application allowing users to see if a person in the contact list is online or not and start a conversation directly from the list itself. The supported protocols include Yahoo, MSN, Gtalk and Nokia Ovi. The app is available from the Ovi store.
