The all in one messenger app, eBuddy XMS, was recently launched for MeeGo and Windows Phone. However, the app was in beta state as it was a little buggy.
Well, the app is now out of beta state and is now officially available for both the platforms. With this graduation, we can expect the S60 and the S40 versions to come out of beta pretty soon.
eBuddy XMS is based on your mobile phonebook, just like text messaging, and it automatically detects which contacts already installed eBuddy XMS so you send messages to them for free (Data Charges Apply). For now the app only lets you XMS text, pictures, emoticons but picture sending, video sending, and group chat will be coming soon in further updates.
