While it may come as a surprise to the people who think that Samsung with its bestselling smartphones rules the market, on Amazon.in the number of Lumia’s sold are close to the number of Galaxy devices sold.
According to Amazon India, for every 12 Samsung Galaxy devices sold by them, 11 Nokia Lumia smartphones are sold with the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 being clear favourites. Since the Amazon India store is operational for a few days now, the tally only reflects the current choice of the customers and not the general choice over an extended time period.
The Nokia Lumia 520 ranks second on the Amazon India Top 50 bestsellers list showing that Nokia strategy of launching budget Lumia devices is definitely working. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is at the fourth spot.
