The Honor 9 has been doing the rounds in the rumor mill for some time but now images acquired from micro-blogging website Weibo are suggesting a launch of the honor flagship as early as June 12. Previous rumors have estimated the launch date to be June 20 or June 27. Looks like the company wants to give its fans a surprise. The event will be held in Shanghai at the Shanghai Aquatic Sports Center.

The leak emerging from Weibo has two teaser images. One with a ‘9’ and the other with a ‘3’ on it. The ‘3’ is what most expect to be the Honor Band 3.The Honor Band 3 is supposed to be water-proof. Following the trend of 2016 where Honor launched Honor 8 with the Honor Band A1, they might do the same this year.
The Honor 9 teaser image depicts the latest honor device to sport a dual camera setup at the back. Earlier reports have tipped the Honor 9 to carry a front dual camera as well. Honestly, we don’t know whether that will materialize or not.

Regarding the leaked specs of the handset, we know the dual camera will have a 20 MP main sensor and a 12MP secondary sensor. The display panel will be of 5.15-inches Full HD resolution. Rumors have also pointed towards a curved display. Underneath the metal we are likely to see an unknown 2.4GHz octa-core processor.
Atleast two variants of the Honor 9 are believed to launch. Customers will choose from 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB variants. The estimated price is from 3000 yuan (approx. Rs. 28,500) for the base model.
