Facebook Home for Android was not the only thing that was launched at the event, but as expected, a new HTC phone for Facebook has also been announced, this time without the Facebook button. The HTC First will be an exclusive Facebook device with the newly launched Facebook Home for Android interface.
The HTC First has 4.3 inch display with a 720p resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Dual core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 1.6 megapixel camera.
The HTC First would be the first device with Facebook Home integrated with Android. Also the phone would be the first to come pre-loaded with apps like Instagram. The HTC First is already up for pre-order with AT&T for a subsidized price of $99.99.
