HTC’s 5 inch ‘phablet’ with impressive specs appears in a concept image as HTC One X 5

September has until now been a hectic month as quite a many smartphone launches have happened and more are on their way. HTC is holding an event tomorrow where we expected the company to announce the Windows Phone 8X HTC and HTC One X+.

But there is also a 5 inch
smartphone that the company is expected to announce which has been spotted a few times here and there.

A concept image which almost looks like the official press image of the device with the tag HTC One X 5 has appeared online which also gives us a look as to how the smartphone could look on arrival.

Currently being referred as the HTC DIx (Droid Incredible X), thanks to the red highlight on the side of the device, the 5 inch smartphone is expected to arrive with a 1080p HD display with 480ppi. Yes that’s 480ppi which is even more than Apple’s Retina Display and Nokia’s PureMotion HD+ display.

The 5 inch ‘phablet’ is said to run on a Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM and arrive with a 16 GB internal memory.

The concept image looks great and we would love to see how the final 5 inch smartphone from HTC turns out to be.
