Last weekend, Chinese smartphone brand Huawei launched the Huawei Y9 (2018) with dual cameras on the front and back. Now today, the company has launched the Huawei Nova 2 Lite which also comes with dual cameras, but only at the back.
In terms of design, the Huawei Nova 2 Lite looks exactly like the Honor 9 Lite that was launched last year in China. The Nova 2 Lite boasts a 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 which has been trending since last year.
A display with this kind of aspect ratio helps the reduce the bezels on the smartphone, which is also the case here with the Huawei Nova 2 Lite. And hence, there’s no fingerprint scanner at the front, instead, it has been moved on to the back.
For selfies and video calls, you have an 8 MP camera on the front, and, at the back, you get a dual camera setup which is combination of 13 MP and 2 MP cameras. With this dual camera setup, you can take photos with Bokeh Effect which blurs background to help the subject standout.
Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 2 Lite comes powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC that’s paired with 3 GB RAM. The smartphone runs EMUI 8.0 out of the box which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The Nova 2 Lite has 32 GB of internal storage, and, it also comes with a dedicated slot for microSD card so that you don’t have to choose between more storage or extra SIM card.
Lastly, the Huawei Nova 2 Lite is offered in two colors – Black and Blue – and, it ships with a 3000 mAh battery fuels the entire package.
