Hyve Mobility has launched two new smartphones today in India, the Hyve Storm and Hyve Buzz. The Hyve Storm is priced at ₹8499 whereas the Hyve Buzz comes with a price tag of ₹13,999.
Talking about the Hyve Buzz first, it’s powered by an octa-core processor which is coupled with 3 GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It flaunts a 5.5-inch Full-HD display and has 2.5D Curved Glass. The Buzz runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and will get an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back which supports Touch2Call. What Touch2Call does is it lets you map your favorite contacts to your fingerprints, making it quick and easy to access your frequently dialed numbers.
The back of the Hyve Buzz has rubber grip and there’s also a hexagonal LED notification light above the fingerprint scanner. It comes with a 13 MP at the back and a 5 MP camera on the front. The Hyve Buzz is IPX4 certified as well which means you don’t have to worry about occasional water splashes. Keeping this entire package running is a 2500 mAh battery which can be charged through USB Type-C port.
Coming to the Hyve Storm now, this smartphone has got a quad-core processor under the hood which is paired with 2 GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It has a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. This phone too will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The Hyve Storm has a slightly smaller battery at 2000 mAh as compared to the 2500 mAh on Hyve Buzz. Fingerprint Scanner and IPX4 rating is not available on the Storm.
The Hyve Storm too has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. However, the Storm uses Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor whereas the Buzz has Sony’s Exmor RS Sensor.
