Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex has launched Aqua Secure smartphone with a price tag of ₹6499. It is company’s first ever smartphone to come equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
The Intex Aqua Secure is powered by a quad-core processor which is coupled with 1 GB RAM. It’s a 4G enabled smartphone with support for VoLTE which makes high quality HD calls possible. The device also supports 4G dual SIM, however, only one SIM card can use 4G at a time. The other will work on 2G/3G.
The Aqua Secure flaunts a 4.5-inch display and packs a 1900 mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 8 GB of internal storage on offer. However, that much of storage is as good as nothing these days so you can expand the external storage up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card inside the phone.
The back of the Intex Aqua Secure consists of a matte finish cover. The fingerprint scanner also resides on the back which can be used for unlocking the phone, clicking selfies and accessing gallery.

Photography on this phone is handled by a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The rear camera is accompanied by dual flash. The Aqua Secure also comes with a service called Matrabhasha which lets you communicate in 21 regional languages of India including Hindi. This smartphone also ships with data saving app Opera Max and a file sharing feature called HotKnot.
