itel has announced a new strategic partnership with Reliance Jio aimed at expanding affordable digital connectivity for feature phone users across India. Under this collaboration, users of itel’s 4G feature phones can now access Jio’s low-cost feature phone recharge plans, including the popular ₹123 monthly plan.

Previously limited to Jio’s own feature phone ecosystem, these recharge plans are now supported across itel’s complete 4G feature phone lineup. The move is designed to make 4G internet access and unlimited calling more accessible for users in rural and semi-urban markets.

The partnership introduces multiple recharge options, all offering unlimited voice calls along with 0.5 GB daily data benefits. The ₹123 plan offers 28 days of validity with 14 GB total data, while the ₹234 plan extends the validity to 56 days with 28 GB data. Jio is also offering ₹369 and ₹1,234 plans with 84-day and 336-day validity, respectively, both carrying the same 0.5 GB per day data allocation.

According to industry estimates, users switching to the ₹123 recharge plan could save close to ₹1,000 annually compared to similar offerings currently available in the market.

itel says the collaboration will leverage its strong retail and after-sales infrastructure across India. The company currently has a presence in over 1.3 lakh retail outlets and operates more than 1,000 authorized service centres nationwide. itel also continues to provide its 1-year counter replacement warranty policy for manufacturing defects on feature phones.

The initiative is positioned as part of a broader push toward digital inclusion in “Bharat,” helping value-focused consumers gain access to affordable 4G connectivity, voice calling, and internet services without high recurring costs.

Over the years, itel has expanded its presence to more than 80 countries while diversifying its portfolio across smartphones, televisions, home appliances, personal care products, and solar solutions.
