Continuing its Iris range, Lava has today launched yet another smartphone on its Blockbuster Phoneday. The new Lava Iris 455 closely resembles the Lava Iris 454 launched earlier for Rs. 8499. Though the price isn’t officially revealed, this phone is also expected to be price somewhere in the same range.
The Lava Iris 455 has a 4.5 inch display with a decent resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The device is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage of which just 2 GB is available to the user. To compensate this, a microSD card slot expandable to 32 GB is provided.
The Lava Iris 455 has two cameras, a 5 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. The phone, like most Lava device supports dual SIM with dual standby mode. Unlike the previous phone running on ICS the Iris 455 runs on the Android Jelly Bean OS.
