LAVA has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the LAVA Smart 4 Plus, the latest addition to the company’s Smart series. Positioned as an affordable 4G smartphone, the device features a 6.75-inch 90 Hz display, Android 15 Go Edition, a UNISOC octa-core SoC, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
The LAVA Smart 4 Plus sports a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and improved visual responsiveness compared to conventional 60 Hz panels in the entry-level segment. It comes in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver color options.
Powering the smartphone is the UNISOC 9863A octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB RAM and an additional 4 GB virtual RAM expansion, along with 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512 GB using a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 15 Go Edition, providing a lightweight software experience optimized for entry-level hardware.
For photography, the LAVA Smart 4 Plus features a 13 MP primary rear camera accompanied by a secondary AI camera. Camera features include HDR, Portrait Mode, and Night Mode. On the front, it houses a 5 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging over USB Type-C. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and support for dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.
