Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, has officially opened global pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) starting today, i.e., 25th June 2026. After multiple delays, the highly anticipated title is scheduled to launch worldwide on 19th November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Jason & Lucia Lead the Next GTA Chapter
Grand Theft Auto VI follows protagonists Jason and Lucia in a new single-player campaign set in what Rockstar describes as the largest and most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series to date.
Editions & Pre-Order Bonuses
Rockstar is offering two editions of the game:
- Standard Edition: Includes the complete base single-player experience
- Ultimate Edition: Includes the base game along with exclusive premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and additional in-game content
Players who pre-order or purchase either edition before 20th November 2026 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, featuring a collection of retro-themed in-game items.
Digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+, offering GTA Online benefits for Grand Theft Auto V, along with access to the rotating GTA+ Games Library featuring classic Rockstar titles.
Pre-Loading Begins 12th November 2026
Rockstar has confirmed that pre-loading will begin on 12th November 2026.
- Digital purchases: Players can download the game in advance through supported digital storefronts
- Physical edition: Retail boxes will be available from November 12 and will include a digital download code for early pre-loading before launch
Grand Theft Auto VI will be available through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, and major retailers worldwide.
