LG G3 A with a 5.2-inch 1080p display announced in South Korea

The LG G3 was recently launched in India and in the meanwhile, LG has been busy launching various G3 variants. It recently unveiled the G3 S aka the G3 Beat and now, the company has announced the LG G3 A.

The LG G3 A features a 5.2-inch 1080p display and it’s powered by a 2.23 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB RAM. There’s 32 GB internal storage with microSD expansion. It comes with the same 13 MP OIS camera with laser beam autofocus and flash along with a 2.1 MP front-facing camera.

Android 4.4 KitKat with LG’s latest UI runs the show here and a 2610 mAh battery is packed under the hood. The connectivity is well covered with LTE-A in tow.

The new G3 variant has been announced in LG’s homeland South Korea and it will available through SK Telecom. It will come with a “metallic 3D” pattern on its back and unlike the G3, there are only the usual Black and White versions.

The G3 A is somewhere in between the G3 S/Beat and the G3. It’s better than the G3 S and below the G3, when it comes to the specs. LG hasn’t revealed any plans to bring the device to the rest of the world but we’ll let you know if that happens.
