LG launches Nexus 5 in India for Rs. 29999 for 16 GB version and Rs. 33999 for 32 GB version

While the Nexus 5 was made available on the Google India Play store early today for Rs. 28999, LG has officially launched the device in the country.

LG has officially launched the recently launched Nexus 5 smartphone in India. The smartphone, available in White and Black colour options, is priced at Rs. 29999 for the 16 GB version and Rs. 33999 for the 32 GB version. However the prices are slightly higher than the pricing on the Google Play store.

The Nexus 5 has a 5 inch full HD display. The device is powered by the superfast Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing camera which uses the same optical image stabilizer technology which was used in the LG G2. The smartphone flaunts the recently released Android v4.4 KitKat, which has loads of new features.

Speaking about the Nexus 5 launch, Soon Kwon, MD LG India said, “LG is proud to partner with Google again to develop the fastest, most powerful Nexus phone ever. Nexus 5 offers the ultimate functionality in a modern design and is a testament to the level of innovation that can be generated when two great companies come together for a second act.”
