LG has today announced that starting this month the global rollout of its 4G LTE enabled LG Optimus G smartphone will begin and the smartphone is bound to reach 50 countries with Android Jelly Bean OS on-board. The smartphone was originally launched in September last year but only reached countries like the United States, Canada, Korea and Japan.

The Optimus G will be available starting at the end of January in Singapore followed by other markets worldwide offering 4G LTE services. The LG Optimus G became the first LTE smartphone to arrive with Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-core processor on-board and packs a 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display with a WXGA resolution.
