While the Micromax Canvas Fire A093 is still new, Micromax has launched the successor to the handset with a slightly bigger display.
Micromax has announced the launch of the Micromax Canvas Fire, which is the company’s latest affordable smartphone. The handset has the new design seen in the Canvas line-up along with the dual front speakers. The device has a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Micromax Canvas Fire has a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 1900 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 6999 and is available in Black with Gold, White with Gold and White with Silver colour options. It is however interesting to note how Micromax is trying to compete head-on with the popular Moto E (too subtle?).
