With the increasing demand for selfie-centric smartphones in India, Micromax has now launched two Micromax Canvas Selfie in the country.
Micromax has announced the launch of the Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 and the Micromax Canvas Selfie 3, which are the company’s latest selfie-focussed smartphone in the Canvas series. The devices have a 5 inch and 4.8 inch display respectively. Both the smartphone are powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 has a 5 MP rear facing auto focus camera with OmniVision (OV5648) sensor, 4P lens and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with OmniVision (OV5670) sensor and 4P lens. Similarly, The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Blue Glass 5P Largan Lens and LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera with Sony MX179 sensor, 78 degrees wide-angle lens and LED flash.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 is priced at Rs. 5999 and is available in Black colour with leather-like finish and would hit the stores on August 22. The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 is available in Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow colour options and is expected to go on sale in the last week of August. Pricing would be revealed at the time of market release.
