After launching the Moto G5 Plus in India around two weeks ago, Motorola is now launching the Moto G5 in India on April 4. The Moto G5 was first announced during MWC last month alongside the G5 Plus.
Motorola has started sending out press invites to the media for the launch of Moto G5 event scheduled on April 4. The Moto G5 is the toned down version of the larger Moto G5 Plus. While the G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch Full-HD display, the Moto G5 sports a bit smaller 5-inch display, albeit with the same screen resolution.
Also, unlike the Moto G5 Plus which is powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC, the Moto G5 comes with Snapdragon 430 SoC under the hood which is laced with 2/3 GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. Other specs include 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, 16/32 GB internal storage, Android 7.0 Nougat and 2800 mAh battery.
While the Moto G5 Plus is sold exclusively on Flipkart, the Moto G5 will be sold on Amazon India from April 5. We will know more about its pricing after it’s made official next week.
