The Moto G5 Plus, which was unveiled last month at MWC 2017, has been launched today in India at an event held in New Delhi. For those unaware, the Moto G5 Plus is successor to the Moto G4 Plus that was launched by Motorola last year.
The Moto G5 Plus is powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC which is paired with 3/4 GB of RAM. The 3 GB RAM variant of the Moto G5 Plus is offered with 16 GB of internal storage whereas the 4 GB RAM variant comes with 32 GB of storage on board.
The Moto G5 Plus boasts a metal body design and has a fingerprint scanner on the front. Unlike its predecessor, the Moto G5 Plus doesn’t sport a square shaped fingerprint scanner. Also, this fingerprint scanner reminds us of the scanner on the OnePlus 3 and 3T. However, the fingerprint scanner on the Moto G5 Plus does support gestures like back, home and recent which leave you with some extra pixels on the screen.
Speaking of screen, the Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch screen having Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution along with Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top. The device boots up to Android 7.0 Nougat and the 3000 mAh battery keeps the entire package running.
