MTNL launches new ‘124 Start Up’ plan for users in Delhi

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has today announced the launch of a new plan called ‘124 Start Up’ for its users in Delhi Telecom Circle.

The MRP of the ‘124 Start Up’ plan is Rs.124 and users opting in for the will be offered a free 3G SIM card and loads of freebies.

 

The freebies that MTNL users will get include 124 minutes of local calls to any network within the circle, 124 minutes of STD Calls, 124 Local SMS to any network, 124 STD SMS and 124 MB 3G Data.
 
After the freebies are exhausted, MTNL will charge the users 1/2 paisa/second (1 paisa for 2 seconds) for Local calls to own network, while calls to other network will be charged at 1 paisa/second. Whereas the STD calls will be chargeable at 1.20p/sec (6 paisa for 5 seconds). The data charges beyond free usage will be charged at 1p/12KB.
 
Going by the SMS charges, all Local SMSs will be charged at 25 paise/SMS, while All STD SMSs will be charged at Re.1/SMS and ISD SMS will be charged at Rs2.50/SMS.
 
Going by the roaming charges, MTNL will charge Re.1/minute for all incoming and Local outgoing calls while STD outgoing calls will be charged at Rs.1.50/minute.
 
After one year the customer will be shifted to Base Plan which is Jeevansaathi and all calls will be charged as per the plan.
