We knew that Nokia was preparing to launch its 4.3 inch Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh running Nokia Lumia 900 in India and today Nokia India has confirmed to us that the Lumia 900 is now available in the Indian subcontinent for prospective buyers.
Nokia has launched the Lumia 900 in India with a price tag of Rs. 34,249 but the smartphone is available for a best-buy price of Rs. 32,999.
It is indeed a bit late for Nokia to launch the Windows Phone 7.5 running Lumia 900 in India when people are expecting the launch of the recently announced Windows Phone 8 running Nokia Lumia 920 in the next couple of months.
But leaving that aside, the Nokia Lumia 900 will get the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade and currently arrives with the following specifications:
- 4.3 inch screen AMOLED screen
- ClearBlack display
- Powered by a 1.4 GHz processor
- 512 MB of RAM
- 8 MP Camera with LED Flash
- 1.3 MP front camera
- 16 GB of Internal memory
- 1830 mAh battery
We have also confirmed that the Nokia Lumia 900 is also available online on Nokia’s own retail website called the Nokia Shop for Rs. 32,999 and is available in three colours: Black, White and Cyan.
