Samsung rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge in India

Samsung has been slowly updating its flagship devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop and apparently, the curved display packing Galaxy Note Edge is next in line. According to SamMobile, the South Korean giant is rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxt Note Edge in India.


The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was launched in India in December last year and it arrived with Android 4.4 KitKat on-board. The device is now finally recieving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. As most of us know by now, the Android 5.0 update brings a number of new things like the cool Material Design UI, new recents/multitasking interface, enhanced lockscreen with notifications, new notifications center and more.

Samsung recently rolled out the update for the Note 3 users in India and now, the Note Edge should be receiving it as we write. Meanwhile, there’s no update for the Note 4 yet but that should be coming pretty soon. As always, we’ll let you know.
