Samsung has been slowly and steadily bringing KitKat to its devices and today, it’s Galaxy S4 mini Duos‘ turn. The regular Galaxy S4 mini is yet to receive the update while the Duos version is already getting it and the Black Edition S4 mini getting it previously.
The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is now rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini Duos with the model number GT-I9192. The KitKat build rolling out as an update is I9192XXUCNG2.
The update should bring all the Android 4.4 KitKat goodies we know like the new status bar, wireless printing support, visual changes, the performance improvements and more. Samsung should also be bringing updates to its own TouchWiz overlay.
The update is currently only available in Russia but we can expect the update to reach other countries soon. We’ll suggest you to keep checking your S4 mini Duos for the KitKat update. Hopefully, the single SIM Galaxy S4 mini will get the update next.
