Sony Xperia XA Ultra launched in India with 16 MP front camera for ₹29,990

Sony, which teased the launch of Xperia XA Ultra in India last week has finally launched the smartphone today. The Xperia XA Ultra is priced at ₹29,990 and was first unveiled in May this year.

Specs wise, the Xperia XA Ultra is powered by Helio P10 SoC which is coupled with 3 GB RAM and Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It boasts off a huge 6-inch Full-HD display which comes with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. The device also flaunts borderless design which is surrounded by metal.

The Xperia XA Ultra runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and is backed by a 2700 mAh battery. However, we think that the 2700 mAh battery is relatively smaller for a device with 6-inch display, but, with Sony’s Stamina Mode thrown in, users should be able to get the most out of it.

The main highlight of the Xperia XA Ultra is its front facing camera. Yes, the XA Ultra comes with 16 MP auto-focus camera which is accompanied by Optical Image Stabilization and LED flash. Those who take a lot of selfies are definitely going to love it. Sony has also provided a 21.5 MP camera at the back which comes with Hybrid auto-focus. Users can also take selfies by just raising their hand. This is hand shutter feature which will trigger a timer as soon as you raise your hand.
