Videocon VT71 – 7-inch Android ICS tablet launched for Rs.4799

Videocon has announced the addition of another tablet in its existing range of offerings and this time it is the Videocon VT71 which has been made official which is a 7-inch tablet from the company running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out-of-the-box.

The 7-inch screen of the VT71 packs in a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Rockchip RK2918 processor which is coupled with a 512 MB RAM.


The internal storage on the VT71 is pegged at 4 GB which can be expandable to 32 GB using a microSD card. There is a VGA front facing camera which allows users to have video chats. The VT71 also features a 3.5mm Audio Jack, HDMI-Out port with Free HDMI & OTG Cable, MicroUSB Support and 3G support via external USB Dongle. The tablet is powered by a powerful 3200 mAh battery.

The Videocon VT71 also offers preloaded apps like Saavn, NexGtv, Facebook, Nimbuzz amongst others while more can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Videocon VT71 has been priced at Rs.4799 which seems to be a very decent price for the tablet.
