The last phone that Chinese smartphone brand Vivo launched in India was the Vivo V7 in November last year. According to a report by IANS, the Vivo V9 will be launched in India later this month on March 27. The phone is also said to be priced at around ₹25,000 and will feature a 24 MP camera on the front. However, what’s more important is that the Vivo V9 will sport iPhone X-like notch.

However, leaked images (refer to first picture above) show that Vivo’s notch will be smaller than that of iPhone X. Furthermore, other leaked images also show-off dual camera setup at the back that’s located at the top-left corner of the phone in vertical orientation along with a fingerprint scanner residing at the center.

Details pertaining to the Vivo V9 are currently scarce, and, there’s no word from Vivo regarding the launch of V9 in India. Hence, take this information with a pinch of salt. If Vivo is indeed going to launch the V9 (in India or China), we will get to see more of its images in the coming days.

All in all, it looks like we should brace ourselves to witness a whole lot of Android smartphones that will feature iPhone X-like notch this year.
