Over the past few weeks, we have been continuously hearing about the upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi 5. However, we were still uncertain about the launch date, a company official has now shared the details.
The Xiaomi Senior Vice President Liwan Jiang revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 5 would be announced on February 24. He further also mentioned that the company would reveal the details of the handset on January 26. The launch event is said to be for two hours, which means that the company may launch just more than one phone.
As per the current rumours, the flaghisp Xiaomi Mi 5 would flaunt a 5.2 inch full HD or Quad HD display. The smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and is expected to be available in 3 GB and 4 GB variants. Also expected is a 16 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 13 MP camera.
