Last month, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain, Taiwan-based ASUS announced three new smartphones as a part of its the ZenFone 5 Series – the ZenFone 5, the ZenFone 5Z, and the ZenFone 5 Lite. Amongst them, there was one more smartphone under the ZenFone 5 series that ASUS didn’t announce – the ZenFone 5 Max. However, this smartphone has now been spotted on a benchmarking site along with some of its key specifications.

The ASUS ZenFone 5 Max has appeared on popular benchmarking site Geekbench. It has been listed on Geekbench with model number X00QD. And, according to Geekbench, it’s powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC which is laced with 4 GB RAM and is running Android 8.0 Oreo.

The ZenFone 5 Max also made a score of 1518 and 5386 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively. Having said that, as is with Geekbench, other details like screen size, screen resolution, camera configuration or battery capacity were not revealed.

That said, speaking about battery capacity, we can very well expect the ZenFone 5 Max to pack in a battery larger than 4000 mAh. After all, ASUS has always put emphasis on battery life with its Max series smartphones.

With that being said, we can also expect the ZenFone 5 Max to sport a display having aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Also, now that the ZenFone 5 Max has appeared on Geekbench, we can expect it to be announced soon.
