We pretty much know everything about the All New HTC One. Most of things we know are confirmed while some things we came to know yesterday are still rumors. There’s one thing in the New HTC One, we don’t know much about, that is dual-camera on the back. But a new leak sheds some light on the so-called Duo Camera of the New HTC One.

New HTC One Duo Camera

A leaked brochure from Australian carrier Telstra gives us details on the All New HTC One and among those details, we notice the Duo Camera of the New One. The Duo Camera will let you adjust focus, similar to what Nokia started offering with the Refocus app. The cameras will also let you create cool 3D effects. The Duo Camera will supposedly offer superior results, thanks to the dual cameras. The New HTC One also features the dual color, dual-tone flash.

While these features sound pretty cool, we don’t know everything about the Duo Camera yet. The resolution of the camera sensor, optical stabilization and video shooting capabilities are still unknown.

The brochure also confirms BoomSound frontal speakers, Sense 6.0 with double tap to wake and a 5-inch 1080p display.

HTC had a dual 3D camera phone in the form of HTC Evo 3D in the past but it was quite a failure. It will be interesting to see if HTC manages to impress this time. HTC has always tried an experiment with the camera but they have mostly underwhelmed us. We hope this time it’s different and we are truly impressed.

All New HTC One Specs [Expected]

  • 5-inch display
  • Full HD (1920x1080pixel) resolution
  • Snapdragon 801 processor
  • 2 or 3GB RAM
  • 16,32 and 64GB internal storage
  • microSD expansion
  • 5MP dual cameras
  • dual-tone flash
