Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleBattlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is set to introduce a new World Boss encounter on Erangel featuring Kiaraa, the game’s celestial entity and original in-house character. The new Kiaraa’s Test event will arrive on 8th October, bringing cooperative PvE boss mechanics into the regular battle royale environment. Unlike a separate boss arena, the encounter takes place directly on Erangel, allowing multiple squads, duos, and solo players to participate while still having to deal with enemy players.
Kiaraa’s Test | Treasure Chests | Mithai Boxes | Peacock Lamps
The encounter takes place in a dedicated hot-drop area called Kiaraa’s Test. Players landing in the area can first search for weapons and supplies from Treasure Chests placed around the zone.
Players can also find Mithai Boxes, which restore 50 Health and 50 Stamina when consumed. The main objective, however, is to locate the four Peacock Lamps scattered around the area.
Lighting all four Peacock Lamps activates the summoning sequence and awakens Kiaraa, beginning the World Boss encounter.
World Boss Battle | Arrow Rain | Sword Dance
Once summoned, Kiaraa functions as an open-world boss, meaning the battle is not restricted to a single squad. Multiple squads, duos, and solo players can contest the area at the same time, creating a combination of PvE boss combat and regular player-versus-player encounters.
Kiaraa uses multiple offensive abilities during the fight. These include Arrow Rain, which targets specific areas with heavy ranged damage, and Sword Dance, which presents a close-range threat to players fighting the boss.
BGMI also introduces a teleportation mechanic to help squads reinforce teammates. Players located elsewhere on Erangel can enter designated teleport zones and immediately join their teammate inside the boss battle area.
Kiaraa Tokens | Exclusive Event Rewards
Defeating Kiaraa and depleting her health bar successfully completes the test and rewards players with high-tier loot, including primary firearms and Medkits.
Players can also earn event-exclusive Kiaraa Tokens through the encounter. A maximum of 4 tokens can be earned per match, with a daily limit of 12 tokens.
The tokens can be redeemed through the event shop for Kiaraa Spin Discount Vouchers, a limited QV Pack, and themed cosmetics, including a custom Avatar and Avatar Frame.
With Kiaraa’s Test, BGMI is combining traditional battle royale gameplay with a World Boss objective, giving players another high-risk activity on Erangel where they need to manage both the boss encounter and opposing players.
