Honor 7C goes official with 5.99-inch Full-Screen Display, Dual Rear Cameras and Face Unlock

Back in October last year, Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its lower mid-range Honor 7X smartphone in China, which was later launched in India in December. And, last week, we told you that Honor was going to launch a new smartphone called Honor 7C. Well, keeping its promise, Honor has finally announced the Honor 7C.

The Honor 7C looks similar to many other smartphones that have been recently announced by Honor (and Huawei). The smartphone flaunts smaller bezels at the top and bottom, and, features a 5.99-inch display having aspect ratio of 18:9 and resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.

Above the display, there’s an 8 MP camera to suffice your selfie and video calling needs. And, the smartphone also comes with Face Unlock feature that uses face recognition to unlock your smartphone. There’s no fingerprint scanner below the display due to smaller bezels, and hence, it’s being moved on to the back.

At the back, you get a dual camera setup in the top-left corner in horizontal orientation which is a combination of one 13 MP and one 2 MP camera. That said, speaking about the innards, the Honor 7C is powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC which is paired with 3 or 4 GB RAM.

The 3 GB RAM variant of the Honor 7C comes with 32 GB of internal storage whereas the 4 GB RAM variant comes with 64 GB of storage. The phone runs company’s homegrown EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Lastly, the Honor 7C comes in four different colors – Blue, Black, Gold, Red – and, ships with a 3000 mAh battery which draws power from a microUSB port.
