HTC teases new phone to be unveiled at today’s event

We are just hours away from the HTC event where the manufacturer is expected to unveil its new range of Windows Phone 8 OS running smartphones and today the Taiwanese giant took to its Facebook page and teased the announcement.


HTC went on to post a picture which you can see above, wherein the corner of a device (which seems to be a WP8 smartphone) it is going to unveil is teased with the time 10:08 and today’s date.
Going by the previous rumours and leaks, HTC is expected to unveil three Windows Phone 8 smartphones along with a new Android flagship smartphone probably the HTC One X+.

Coming to the Windows Phone 8 lineup, out of the three rumoured HTC WP8 devices, the one which is confirmed to be launching going by the leaks is the HTC 8X or even the HTC 8S which is probably going to arrive with a 4.3 inch Super LCD 2 screen, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 16 GB internal storage, and more.

We are also expecting to see the much rumoured 5 inch phablet codenamed ‘DIx’ from HTC too which is expected to arrive with a 1080p screen and pixel density of 480ppi.
