Huawei Ascend G6 press renders surface; May be announced at MWC

Soon after the Ascend P7 surfaced, another smartphone, the Huawei Ascend G6, has entered the rumour mill, with sources expecting to see it at the upcoming MWC 2014.

The same source that earlier mentioned the Ascend P7, has now revealed the press renders of the Huawei Ascend G6. Unlike the flagship Ascend P7, this handset looks more like a mid-range offering. The device is expected to feature a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The handset like its predecessor would be quite thin.

The Huawei Ascend G6 is said to be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor along with 1 GB of Ram and 16 GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a rear facing 8 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. While there has been no official confirmation, the handset is expected to be announced at the MWC 2014, alongside the Ascend P7.
