The LG G Flex was received pretty well when it launched last year, thanks to its interesting design, self-healing features and some great battery life. The company announced its successor, the G Flex 2 at CES 2015 and the device has just launched in India.

LG G Flex 2

The LG G Flex 2 features more dynamic curves than its predecessor and its design has also undergone a change. The curved back of the device features a spin hairline pattern along with self-healing, which has also been improved and is now more faster. While the predecessor took around 3 minutes to heal, the G Flex 2 takes around 10 seconds to heal in room temperature.

The LG G Flex 2 comes with a smaller 5.5-inch curved P-OLED display but packs in more pixels at Full HD (1920x1080p) resolution. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest 64-bit Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. The device comes 2 GB DDR4 RAM for your multitasking needs and the internal storage is either 16 or 32 GB depending upon your choice. Either ways, there’s a microSD slot on-board.

The device packs in 13 MP camera with OIS and laser autofocus and on the front, there’s a 2.1 MP front-facing camera. The LG G Flex 2 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop on-board along with LG’s UI and various features like Gesture Shot, Gesture View, Glance Shot and Fast charge. The device is powered by a 3000 mAh curved embedded battery.

The connectivity is pretty well covered, which is to be expected from a high-end smartphone. There’s 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X) 4.1, NFC, SlimPort, A-GPS / Glonass and USB 2.0.

The LG G Flex 2 is priced at Rs. 55,000 and it will hit the Indian market later this month . The device will be available in two color variants: Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.

So, anyone planning on getting the LG G Flex 2?
