Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleMediaTek has introduced the Dimensity CX C10 Max, the first system-on-chip (SoC) under its new Dimensity Compute Experiences (CX) family. The new platform is designed for premium, ultra-portable computing devices, with the first target being an upcoming Googlebook.
Built using a TSMC 3nm process, the Dimensity CX C10 Max combines an all-big-core CPU architecture with an 11-core GPU, dedicated NPU, camera ISP and high-speed wireless connectivity. MediaTek says the platform is designed to enable thinner, lighter and fanless devices while delivering all-day battery operation.
All-Big-Core CPU Architecture | 11-Core Immortalis GPU
The Dimensity CX C10 Max features an octa-core CPU made entirely from performance-oriented Arm cores. The configuration includes one ARM Cortex-X925 core clocked at up to 3.73 GHz, along with three ARM Cortex-X4 cores and four ARM Cortex-A720 cores.
The SoC includes 12 MB of shared L3 cache and 10 MB of system-level cache. It supports LPDDR5X memory at speeds of up to 9,600 Mbps and UFS 4.0 storage.
Graphics processing is handled by the ARM Immortalis-G925 MC11 GPU with 11 cores. The platform is designed to provide sustained graphics performance while supporting advanced rendering capabilities.
The display engine supports an internal display at up to 4K resolution and 60 Hz through DisplayPort or MIPI interfaces. It can also drive up to two external 4K displays through DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST).
For video playback and creation, the SoC supports 10-bit 4K60 decoding for HEVC, AVC, VP9 and AV1 formats. It also supports 4K60 10-bit encoding for HEVC and AVC, along with 8-bit HEVC encoding.
55 TOPS NPU For On-Device AI
A major part of the Dimensity CX C10 Max is its MediaTek NPU 890, which delivers up to 55 TOPS of AI processing performance.
The NPU supports INT8, INT16, FP16 and BF16 precision formats and is designed for generative AI and agentic AI workloads. MediaTek says the NPU is designed to power Gemini Intelligence features locally, enabling faster responses while providing additional privacy benefits by processing supported AI workloads on the device.
Imagiq 1090 ISP For Video Calls | Wi-Fi 7 | Bluetooth 6.0
The SoC also integrates the MediaTek Imagiq 1090 ISP, supporting camera sensors up to 32 MP.
The ISP provides hardware-based electronic image stabilization, HDR video, automatic zoom and sustained-focus capabilities. These features are aimed at improving video calls, livestreaming and other camera-based workloads on Googlebook devices.
For connectivity, the Dimensity CX C10 Max supports Wi-Fi 7 with theoretical speeds of up to 7.3 Gbps. MediaTek has also included dual-engine Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless peripherals, audio devices and other accessories.
The connectivity platform is designed to support high-speed downloads, media streaming and video conferencing while maintaining reliable connections in busy wireless environments.
Designed For Thin & Fanless Googlebooks
The 3nm manufacturing process and power-efficient architecture are central to MediaTek’s approach with the Dimensity CX C10 Max. The company says the platform can enable manufacturers to build thin, lightweight and fanless computing devices with all-day battery operation.
The chip is being positioned specifically for the emerging Googlebook platform, extending MediaTek’s computing portfolio beyond its smartphone-focused Dimensity lineup.
