Last week, Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 5.0.2 update for OnePlus 5T which finally brought in Android 8.0 Oreo to the phone. However, it looks like that update was pulled, and hence, the company has now started rolling out yet another update for 5T.

OnePlus is now rolling out OxygenOS 5.0.3 update for the OnePlus 5T. This update is based on Android 8.0 Oreo and the changelog fo this update is almost the same as that of OxygenOS 5.0.2 update, but, it does come with some fixes for system stability issues.

Here’s the entire changelog of OxygenOS 5.0.3 update for OnePlus 5T:

  • Upgraded Android version to Oreo(8.0)
  • New design for Quick Settings
  • General bug fixes and improvements
  • Applied CPU security patch: CVE-2017-13218
  • Updated Launcher to v2.2
  • Updated Gallery to v2.0
  • Updated Weather to v1.9
  • Updated File Manager to v1.7.6
  • Fixed system stability issues

Some users reported of issues with navigation keys on their 5T after updating it with OxygenOS 5.0.2 update, hence, the OxygenOS 5.0.3 update could probably be carrying fix for such issues, however, OnePlus hasn’t mentioned anything in detail about it.

In any case though, just like the OxygenOS 5.0.2 update, the OxygenOS 5.0.3 update is also currently rolling out to a small percentage of users, with the wider roll-out commencing soon. You can head over to the Settings > System updates menu to check for the update manually if you don’t get any update notification.
