OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus N6x will launch in India on 31st July at 12 PM IST. The upcoming smartphone will expand the company’s budget-focused N-series lineup and will be available exclusively through Amazon India and the official OnePlus online store.
The launch follows OnePlus’ recent reaffirmation of its long-term commitment to the Indian market, where the company has confirmed plans to continue expanding its product portfolio. The OnePlus N6x will be the latest addition to the brand’s entry-level smartphone range. The company has already launched the OnePlus N6 last month.
OnePlus N6x Design Revealed
Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has shared teasers revealing the design of the smartphone.
The OnePlus N6x features a flat-frame design with a textured rear panel and will be available in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue colour options.
Other visible design highlights include:
- Slim pill-shaped rear camera module
- Flat side frame
- Power and volume buttons on the right side
- 3.5mm headphone jack on the top edge
The inclusion of a headphone jack is notable, as it has become increasingly uncommon on modern smartphones.
7,000 mAh Battery Takes Centre Stage
OnePlus is positioning battery life as one of the biggest highlights of the N6x.
The company has confirmed that the smartphone packs a 7,000 mAh battery, which it claims can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge under standard testing conditions.
According to OnePlus’ internal laboratory testing, a full charge can provide:
- Up to 133.56 hours of music playback
- Up to 25.04 hours of social media browsing
- Up to 20.56 hours of video playback
- Up to 11.26 hours of video recording
Real-world battery life will naturally vary depending on usage patterns, display brightness, network conditions and installed applications.
OnePlus N6x Expected Price
While OnePlus has yet to reveal the full specifications, the N6x is expected to sit below the Nord series in the company’s smartphone lineup.
Based on the company’s positioning, the smartphone is expected to be priced under ₹20,000, competing with offerings from brands such as realme, iQOO, and REDMI in the budget and lower mid-range segment.
More details, including the processor, display, cameras, charging speed and software features, are expected to be announced ahead of the official launch.
